AME Technology Universal Coefficient of Friction Testers are available in multiple configurations, including dedicated COF models and combined friction/peel testers. The systems support static and kinetic COF testing, with adjustable test speeds and stroke lengths for standardized or customized applications. Force capacity typically ranges from 0–5 N, with optional higher ranges available on advanced models. Standard sled mass is 200 g, with optional weights for specialized testing. The sled contact surface is made of felt or sponge rubber, ensuring consistent contact conditions. Some models offer heating functionality up to 100°C and advanced embedded control with tablet operation.
